Belgian "Yokel" Saison 5.1% ABV 40 IBU
Harvest season is a celebratory time of year for this distinctive style born in the early 1900’s from the French speaking farming regions of Belgium. Historically, whatever ingredients the Brewer can source at this time would benefit a farmhouse saison. FSJ’s Mackay Farms has provided us with 100LBS of Honey, mixed in with the brewer additions of rye grain and citrus peels, creating a bright old fashioned yokel brew. Lightly dry-hopped for pizzazz in the boots of an ol’ Farmer.
